We value the attendance of all participants in the Northwest Improv Festival (NWIF). All attendees, participants, instructors, and performers are expected to behave in a considerate, respectful, inclusive and collaborative manner. The NWIF prohibits harassment against any person for any reason. Harassment includes discrimination, offensive verbal comments, images, activities or other material, or bullying related to gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion, technology choices, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention. Attendees, participants, instructors, and performers asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately. Anyone breaking this agreement will be escorted off the premises immediately, and will not be able to perform in the festival, attend shows, or teach any scheduled workshops.

During any Improv Mash-Up shows, we expect you to be respectful of any and all boundaries either stated or not stated during these shows, as you will be performing with people you may not know or have a prior relationship with.

If you are experiencing harassment of any kind, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of the staff immediately. Leads can be identified as they will have “LEAD” badges. Leads will be happy to help participants contact hotel/venue security or local law enforcement, provide escorts, or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of the festival. We value your attendance.

PLEASE NOTE: Participants are required to wear their NWIF badge within the venue locations- no exceptions. A $25 badge reprint fee will be assessed to anyone at a festival event without a badge.
