Full Bio
Bainbridge Improv Collective is a spontaneous theater company located on Bainbridge Island just a ferry ride from Seattle in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. BIC players bring improv backgrounds from Los Angeles, Austin and the greater Seattle area. We came together over a joint love for the art of long-form Theatrical Improvisation and creative storytelling. Chasing the magic moments onstage is our shared passion! Meet our players:
Todd Erler (Todd has been performing, directing and teaching improv, including full length improvised plays, for 30 years)
Tina Guldhammer Frei (Longtime improviser and teacher, Tina knows improv is pure magic, and she’s passionate about sharing that magic, creativity and connection with others)
Laurel Marlantes (Laurel brings her extensive improv and acting training in LA to the mix and is also currently teaching theater arts and improv to kids and teens)
Erik Horn (Erik has studied film making in addition to his deep dives into improv in Austin and LA)
Kate Henderson (Kate’s career began as a tour guide at Universal Studios Hollywood and also landed her in Unskilled Labor, an improv group of fellow guides who’d traded scripted Hollywood storytelling for make-it-up-on-the-spot comedy. She eventually moved behind the scenes in film and television production)
Sandi Spellman (Sandi has been performing, teaching and studying various forms of improvisational theater for over 20 years. BIC is fantastic opportunity to dig deep into the long-form, narrative improv that she loves!)
