Full Bio
Hello! We are the Sleepy Boys from Pocatello, Idaho. We are a performing troupe under the larger non-profit improv organization, The Comedy Project (TCP). Many members of TCP invite us out to late night activities, but we are often too sleepy and want to go to bed. As a result, Sleepy Boys was formed to explore the world of dreamscape. We interview audience members about real, wild dreams they have had and use that as inspiration for a fever-dream improv experience with illogical edits and absurd decisions.
The Sleepy Boys are a trio made up of improvisers, Adam Gribas (Pocatello, ID), Brandt Hurley (Pocatello, ID), and Jacob Andrysiak (Boise, ID). This trio has over 35 years of collective improv experience. The Sleepy Boys always have a 4th performer who is different each time to add twist to each performance. This year the Sleepy Boys have invited Jim Bagley (Lake Moses, WA) to join in on the fever dream. We love improv that dares to fail, lives in the moment, and oozes high energy!
