WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION:
This class will focus on the various tenets of musical improv (such as warm-ups, tempo, lyrics, emotion, movement, etc) and break them down into easily understandable exercises and games. Then, we will focus on applying them to short-form and narrative improv. The first part of the workshop will be focusing on the techniques of improvising a song, and the second part will focus on adding a theatrical flair! You don’t need to be a highly “experienced” or “skilled” singer, just a person who loves music! This should will be a blast for players of any level!
